Matthew Zirui Tay, Ph.D.
I’m interested in pushing new frontiers with technology and solving problems that bring a benefit to people. When I’m not writing a new grant or publication, I like to read science fiction or spend time with my family singing Psalms.
Lin Weikang, Nicholas, Ph.D.
I am interested in the development of microfluidic tools for translational and high-throughput screening applications, particularly in the field of infectious disease. Outside of work, I love playing video games, watching movies and listening to the works of the legendary ⚡David Bowie⚡ .
I’ve always had a keen interest in immunology and infectious diseases, and I find lab work really fun. I enjoy running experiments to completion as it’s really satisfying (and I also like to whine to people when something goes wrong). When I’m not in the lab, I’ll typically be hanging out with friends, working out, or taking random classes.

I’m interested in learning how infectious diseases impacts society and novel ways to combat them. I feel science is like magic that works and enjoy doing lab work. In my free time I’ll usually explore new places to eat with my friends or burn the midnight oil to watch my favorite football or F1 team in action.

Ho Wei Shen, Ph.D.
